My name is Miriam. I was born in Barcelona and I now live in Zwolle in the Netherlands.

I have been passionate about painting since I was a small. When I was fourteen I had the good fortune to have as my teacher the painter Alejandro Lozano from the Escola d'Art Massana in Barcelona. From him, I learned about shapes, light and color. I am very much a self-taught artist.

My work is mainly in acrylics, combing the warmest colors of the pallet in compositions on the limits of the abstract and the figurative.

My painting is my inner silent poetry. To me, painting is a reflection of my soul, it translates into color and light all my emotions, emotions about nature, people and life.

You never know when inspiration will knock to your heart and say “ open the door and speak to the world in your way, as only you can “ and then I need a brush.

My work is of a spiritual nature, it’s the light of my soul. And I would love to invite you to come in and visit, my work and my soul.

It is the art from within.
